Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Core Development
- Develop and maintain scalable solutions using Apex, LWC, SOQL, and custom
metadata types. - Build automation using Flows and declarative tools, API Integrations, Mulesoft.
- Participate in code reviews, Salesforce Change Sets – CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset), and version control systems.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and security standards.
Sales & Service Cloud Focus:
Sales Cloud:
- Experience in Lead/Opportunity lifecycle management, assignment rules, auto-conversion, and custom quote flows.
- Hands-on work with Product Catalogs, Pricing, Sales Engagement, and High Velocity Sales is a plus.
Service Cloud:
- Deep understanding of Case Management, Omni-Channel Routing, Entitlement Processes, Knowledge Base, and Agent Workspace.
- Exposure to CTI integrations, Einstein Bots, and Service Console enhancements.
Experience Cloud & Agentforce:
- Develop and customize Experience Cloud portals with custom Lightning components and branded user experiences.
- Support emerging Agentforce use cases, including AI-powered agent prompts, voice/chat interaction flows, and customer action orchestration using pre-trained and contextual workflows.
Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP):
- Use Data Cloud tools to manage real-time data ingestion, build unified customer profiles, and perform segment activation for marketing or service journeys.
- Build connectors and data streams to support event based personalization.
Industry Cloud Experience (Nice to Have):
Financial Services Cloud (FSC):
Household modeling, Financial Accounts, Goals, Activities, and Compliance objects.
Exposure to Advisor Console, interaction summaries, and Einstein for FSC.
Manufacturing Cloud:
Program management, Sales Agreements, and Account-Based Forecasting.
Familiarity with Opportunity collaboration between field sales and partners.
B2B Commerce Cloud:
Product catalog management, cart flows, checkout customization, and Experience Cloud-based storefronts.
Client-Facing Delivery & Agile Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product owners to understand user stories and convert them into technical solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, demos, retrospectives) and contribute to backlog refinement.
- Actively engage with clients to explain solution designs, manage expectations, and deliver quality outcomes.
- Ensure all work is well-documented, tested, and transitioned to support teams post-deployment.
Required Experience:
Senior Developer:
- 7+ years of Salesforce development across multiple clouds.
- Experience with Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Agentforce use cases.
- Proven ability to lead small squads, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architecture discussions.
- Strong focus on client delivery, stakeholder alignment, and agile leadership.
Any of these Salesforce Certifications would be great:
- Platform Developer I, II
- Admin & Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant (a strong plus)
- Data Cloud Consultant (a plus)
- Marketing Cloud Developer or Experience Cloud Consultant (optional but helpful)
