Primary Responsibilities:ย
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT purchasing requirements.
- Initiate, monitor and track purchasing activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in the IT purchasing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, finance, and legal, to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Remediate vendor service issues and escalate issues accordingly.
Skills:ย
- Proven experience in IT purchasing, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes.
- Familiarity with IT products and services, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and vendors.
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in IT purchasing.
